Location: Washington D.C.
I had the best time in Washington D.C. this past weekend! I’m still reliving it in my head and smiling, because it really was so much fun.
Like I mentioned, I wasn’t planning on doing anything political, historical or monumental on this trip. Instead, we spent our time walking around the neighborhoods of Shaw, DuPont Circle, Logan Circle, Capitol Hill and the Waterfront, restaurant and bar hopping.
Aside from seeing some of my very favorite friends…
…I had two favorite experiences during the weekend:
*note: I try not to take plastic lids. Less plastic helps the environment!
- Compass Coffee‘s gingerbread nitro cold brew coffee. Think….cinnamon and ginger frothy goodness
- The colorful buildings and doors! I had no idea that D.C. was so bright and cheery! Of course, like with any major city, there were streets less safe and clean than others, but overall, I was so impressed. Take a look!
So basically, D.C. is super pretty. I’m so happy my friends are getting married down there and my cousin is moving there so I have more reasons to visit! You know me…if it’s a weekend, take me away!
